Roofing across
Dallas–Fort Worth
Texas

We are based in Austin and serve the Dallas–Fort Worth metro. No Dallas–Fort Worth office — but a permanent company, a fixed address, and a licensed, insured crew, not a storm-chaser that vanishes before the warranty matters.

The Dallas–Fort Worth roofing reality

What this metro
does to roofs

We say “serving,” never “located in.” A permanent Austin company beats a storm-chaser implying a local address.

Dallas–Fort Worth is a genuinely different roofing problem from Central Texas. The driver here is not hail, it is wind and water: the May 16, 2024 hailstorm put 100-mph gusts through the metro, the spring hail season followed on July 8, 2024, and in the forested master-planned communities — The Woodlands, Kingwood, Memorial — hail impact and limb puncture is the dominant claim, not granule loss. North Texas humidity and low-slope sections add a moisture problem Austin roofs rarely face, and North Texas-adjacent areas like Clear Lake carry hail and wind-insurance considerations on top.

Dallas–Fort Worth FAQ

Metro-level
questions

Specific to how we work the Dallas–Fort Worth market. Mapped to FAQPage schema on this page.

Does Sprout Roofing have a Dallas–Fort Worth office?

No. We are based in Austin and serve the Dallas–Fort Worth metro from there. We would rather be plain about that than imply a local storefront a prospect can disprove in one search — a permanent Austin company with a fixed address is the opposite of the out-of-state crews that appear after a hailstorm and disappear before the warranty is ever tested.

What is the biggest roofing risk in the DFW metro?

Hail, by a wide margin. North Texas is one of the most hail-prone metros in the country — spring supercells drop large stones across Collin, Denton, Dallas and Tarrant counties nearly every season, and straight-line wind adds to it. Most DFW claims we handle are hail-driven.

When is hail season in Dallas–Fort Worth?

Roughly March through June, peaking in April and May. If a storm rolls through your area, it is worth a free inspection while the claim window is open — damage is not always visible from the ground.

Do you handle both new subdivisions and older DFW homes?

Yes. From the young architectural-shingle roofs going up across Frisco and Prosper to the mature roofs in Richardson, Fort Worth and Denton, we inspect, repair and replace residential and light-commercial roofs across the metro.
